The Raleigh Boychoir Treble Festival!

Calling all Wake County 4th and 5th grade boys who love to sing and all 4th and 5th grade choir teachers!

The Raleigh Boychoir Treble Festival is a joint singing experience for 4th and 5th grade boys, which also provides choral resources for music leaders in the Wake County Schools. The festival is hosted by the Raleigh Boychoir and under the direction of RBC’s Artistic Director, Jeremy Tucker and RBC’s creative staff.

Student registration fee is $30 and includes workshops, t-shirt, and supper on Friday. (Singers are required to bring lunch on Saturday.)

No audition required!  Boys will sing four pieces at the final concert, which will take place on Saturday, October 1st, at 3:00pm at Church of the Good Shepherd. The performance will spotlight a community ensemble.

The exciting repertoire chosen for the festival is — Bang The Drum All Day, Siyahamba, Feel Good and Be The Change.  Please order the 2 part version for Bang the Drum and the SSA version for Siyahamba and Feel Good. Here is the link for Be The Change which you can print out from the Social Justice Songbook. 1 CEU credit hour available.

Teacher Registration Instructions: 

  • Teacher sends this Singer Registration Form to your student’s parent or guardian.
  • Teacher orders the music from JW Pepper by clicking Here. Music is purchased separately and not included in the student festival registration fee.
  • Teacher collects all Registration forms from parent/guardian for each student and emails to raleighboychoir@gmail.com in advance or brings to the festival. 
  • Teacher registers your singers using the Teacher Registration Form. Payment for your group ($30 per student) is submitted in the registration form using PayPal or you may send a check payment to Raleigh Boychoir, 121 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, NC 27603 or you may bring it to the festival and give it to Erin O’Hara, Program Associate.
