Raleigh Boychoir is excited to announce Rollo Dilworth as guest clinician for our 2018 American Music Festival! The festival schedule will include a rehearsal with the Boychoir on Friday, April 27 at First Baptist Church in Raleigh, as well as a rehearsal and an afternoon concert on Saturday, April 28 with Dr. Dilworth!

Rollo Dilworth is Associate Professor of Choral Music Education and Chair of the Music Education Department at Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music and Dance in Philadelphia, PA.  A frequent presenter at local, state, regional and national conferences, Dilworth has conducted 43 all-state choirs at various levels (elementary, middle school, high school), and has conducted 6 regional honor choirs and 4 national honor choirs.

Each year, the Raleigh Boychoir (RBC) sponsors a choral music festival focused on American music composers. Our 2018 festival will honor local 4th through 12th grade boys who have been recognized by their music educators for their singing ability, musical aptitude and strong work ethic. Simply use this festival registration form to fill out the names of students you anticipate attending. You will distribute a link to parents who will provide additional student information, including payment of $30 student registration fee. A parent invitation letter, which includes the link is also available to send home with students. Please contact the RBC office if your school intends to pay your students’ registration, or for any other questions.  Please note that upon registering, you will be invited and expected to attend the Friday afternoon and Saturday rehearsals with Mr. Tucker and Dr. Dilworth!

The link to the festival repertoire list from JW Pepper is on the registration form.  Music is purchased separately and not included in the student festival registration fee.
